here I am!

It’s been too long!  Life has been mag­i­cal late­ly, with a whirl­wind vis­it to Flo­rence at the cen­ter of all the excite­ment.  I’ll be back in a jiffy with lots of lus­cious pho­tos and a fab­u­lous recipe or two, but in the mean­time, I want­ed to show you a lit­tle friend we made in Italy… this lit­tle fel­low fol­lowed Avery into one of the many cos­met­ics shops she dis­cov­ered, and after we suc­cess­ful­ly shooed him out into the street, he end­ed up on my hand.  That’s what our whole adven­ture was like: felic­i­ty, luck, and gen­tle beau­ty.  I’ll be back!
